What do I need to watch it? Any Pentium Class computer of 100Mhz or better should be OK. You need Internet Explorer 4 or greater, or Netscape 4 or greater. If you have an older version you can get the new one for free at the Microsoft or Netscape sites. You also need a player for the movies. We are putting them up in both QuickTime (available from Apple) and in RealPlayer (RealPlayer). Both produce similar results. You may already have RealPlayer if you have a PC. You may already have QuickTime if you are using a MAC. What if I have a MAC? You need a PowerPC class running at 100Mhz or better. You also need Internet Explorer or Netscape versions 4 or greater, and the plugins for playing the movies. (QuickTime is available at Apple). Is my computer too slow? We recommend Pentiums of 133 MHz and PowerPCs of 100 MHz and faster for best results watching video. What's this about "players" and "plugins"? Our video content is available in two formats, that require a special helper program, known as a "player." The programs we use are Apple's QuickTime and Real Network's RealPlayer (for RealVideo content). If you don't have the one of these players already, you can get them here. They are both available as a free download, or as a deluxe version for a fee (you can even install both players if you want) To download the player installer for this type of content, click on one of the icons below: |
