VIDEO FORMATS - NTSC and PAL

"NTSC" is the video and television standard for the United States, Canada, Mexico, Japan and a some other countries. "PAL" is the most popular European standard but is also used in Australia and other countries. "SECAM" is a much less popular European standard slowly disappearing. If you are not sure which system you use, please find out before ordering tapes.
 
NTSC DVDs:
For viewers in North America. Our NTSC DVDs are all commercially replicated DVDs in either DVD-5 or DVD-9 format of the highest quality. Most PAL DVD players will also play DVDs in the NTSC format - and most but not all PAL televisions can display this converted signal. If you have any doubt, please read your manual before ordering.
 
PAL DVDs:
Currently our PAL DVDs are produced in the "DVD-R" format. Most new DVD players will play DVD-Rs with no problem. But a few do not! If you have any doubt, please read your manual before ordering. They are expensive for us to produce!
 
COMPUTER PLAYBACK:
All computers that have DVD players can playback both PAL and NTSC DVDs. If you intend to watch the DVD on a computer you can get either format.
 
DVD Regions:
 Our DVDs are designed for worldwide playback in all DVD regions.
