CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS’S LOG OF 1492 The best known of all voyages of
exploration was made by Christopher Columbus in 1492 – a lengthy, daring
journey that led to one of the biggest surprises in history: the discovery of
the Americas. The translation of his actual log has survived and is a treasure
trove: his secrets, royal schmoozing, management style, courteousness in
meeting new cultures, celestial navigation ineptness, primitive instrumentation,
extraordinary seamanship, and enormous good luck. This is an amazing story!
